The class notes are provided as a service for students enrolled in Astronomy 106. They are not intended to be used as a substitute for attending class, rather to allow students to avoid having to write down everything from the screen during the lecture.

I have converted the notes directly from Astound to HTML. Therefore, there may be errors which arise during the translation. These include

  1. Text sizes and colors not translating properly.
  2. Scientific notation not translating properly.
  3. Greek letters translating as roman characters.
I do not intend to correct errors arising from translation of these notes. It is the student's responsibility to put these electronic notes into a form which he can use.
