  1. The Hubble Time

This is an approximate relationship between the maximum age of the universe, T in billions of years and the Hubble constant H in km/sec/Mpc. The relationship is:

    Example:

If the Hubble constant is 70 km/sec/Mpc, what does this suggest for the maximum age of the universe? years years, or 14 billion years. This is consistent with current estimates.
